Everyone that registers before January 31st will be entered into a draw to win either a Rocky Mountain Element MSL 70 frame, a Rocky Mountain Altitude 70 frame, or prizes from Shimano and Dakine! More details available here.

Cumberland Trails - "Mountain Bike Heaven"

Cumberland Trails - “Mountain Bike Heaven“

A fixture of our event since Year One, we're pleased to return to the awesome trails of Cumberland, BC for Day One of BCBR 2011! Full course details and profiles here.

Cumberland features a unique blend of trails for all types of riders and local Course Designer, Jeremy Grasby, has picked out the cream of the crop for us. From Screamin' Demon, to Tea Pot, to Space Nugget, you'll be loving every minute of riding out there. To see what we're talking about, check out our 2010 Cumberland Video!

A recent article in Mountain Bike UK, describing the riding in and around Cumberland, closed by saying "after sampling the goods of Vancouver Island it's hard to think of a more ideal place to ride. Is this mountain bike heaven?" - We think it is!

Bike Magazine - Bible Edition

Bike Magazine - Bible Edition

Bike Magazine's "Bible of Bike Tests" will hit the stands on January 19th, but we've got a sneak peek of it!

From Bike Mag's Team: "Our veteran team of racers, product testers, photographers and mechanics is converging on Bellingham, Washington ... [to] spend more than a month putting gear to the test. We will bomb down trails... punish our lungs... and ride stunts on Cheech and Chong’s Wild Ride that would make the staff in our Human Resources Department develop a nervous tic. And we will sort out—in glorious detail—which bikes, forks, drivetrains, wheelsets, brakes and tires deserve acclaim.
This is what we promise you and our readers: that bikes and gear will be tested objectively, on the appropriate terrain, by a wide range of riders and that they’ll be rated fairly. Oh, and the Bible will absolutely kick butt…but in a scientific way. Like Iggy Pop in a lab coat."

Check out BC Bike Race in the first couple pages of The Bible!
